Christian Life School in Moore has several exciting upcoming events for children age 5-12.
 
Reading and Math tutoring - If your child is struggling in school or could just use a little extra help we will design a program suited for their individual learning style.  We believe that any child can succeed at any subject if it is taught using their strengths and abilities.  We offer one on one sessions on Tues. and Thurs. The hours are 3:30- 6:00.  The cost is $40.00 per month. 
 
Art after School.  The theme of this year's program is The Illustrator's Studio.  We will learn about some of our favorite children's illustrators and produce works of art using their techniques.  The following are the dates and class descriptions:  Dec 28th- Chris Van Allsburg author of " The Polar Express".  The children will use pen and ink and color pencils to create our own illustrations. 
Jan. 18 - Maurice Sendak author of "Where the Wild Things Are."  The children will use a variety of materials to create their own "wild things".  Feb. 8th - Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart authors of several pop up books.  The children will use similar techniques to create their own pop up cards.  March 8th- Eric Carle and Leo Lionni authors of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar and "Little Blue and Little Yellow".  The children will work with paper cut outs to create collage books.  April 12th - The children will use all of the techniques they have learned to create their own book of art.  Times: 4:30- 5:30.  Cost $55.00 (10% discount for more than one child).  Ages 5-12.

Winter Discovery Camp - Ages 5- 12.  Date 29th and times 9:30 - 2:30. Cost $20.00 We will offer hands on science and art activities as well as pizza and drinks.  This will be a fun opportunity to preview our summer Discovery Camp Classes.
